Yeah it's a proper station - 87.9 I think has been allocated to/by
the local council as a 'for the community' thing, it changes. In
winter it's 'Nerve' which is Bournemouth Uni's student run station
and for most of the summer it's Hope FM, a Christian station. They
let different groups have a go at it, I think they're going to pick
one to permanently have it at some point.

Wave 105 is a regional one, it covers Weymouth to almost Brighton.

I can get PowerFM in my car sometimes mind and thats a
Portsmouth/Southampton based station. Sometimes I get 2-TenFM too,
which is from way up Berkshire way. But then car stereos are
purposely made to be extra good at picking up weak signals probably.
My car stereo also regularly picks up BBC Somerset, BBC Devon, BBC
Wiltshire and very occasionally BBC Wales. Maybe mines a freakishly
sensitive freak of nature stereo. Or maybe it's something to do with
signals bouncing off the sea because I live right on the coast - I'm
sure I read that somewhere once!

I think (might be wrong) the first ibar programme is going to be
'Your boyfriends are DJs' who are a couple of DJ's from Salisbury who
play regularly at ibar.
